    Interview

So, I had in interview yesterday at Hollywood Video. It was interesting. The manager wasn't there so one of the employees had to interview me. So now the manager has to take a look at the interview sheet thing and see if she wants to bring me in for another interview. Its a step in the right direction, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up.

On another note, I finished NaNoWriMo and am a 2007 winner! w00t! Two years in a row. I've started programming again, as well. Its been a good year since I last sat down and seriously tried to program something. But once again, I might have started something thats a little too complicated for me, so I'm going to try to program something else, something simpler. Maybe a Pac-Man clone or Breakout or something. I dunno, but whatever it is its gotta be simple so that I can actually finish it. And then I can work my way up to larger, more complex projects.

44k! And only 6k (give or take a few hundred words) to go! Hopefully get that done today. Um, about the comic... Erm, well its just pretty much a Halo gag... again... Because thats just Tim's character!
Okay, so this might be my last one for a while (some of you who get Subscription updates from me are probably cheering for joy right about now, lol). Why? For the most part, I'm just feeling too dang lazy to make any more right now. And also all of my creativity is being poured into my novel, and although I'm nearly at the 50k mark, I don't intend to stop there. 75-80k is what I'm pushing for. I want to start writing longer novels. Why? Well for one, very few publishers will actually take something as short as 50k seriously. Even 80k is pushing it. Actually, I should probably ask Ethan how long his novel is... hmmm... And secondly, I know I can read a 50k novel in a couple of hours. Fahrenheit 451 is a perfect example of that. I want to be able to write something like Sword of Shannara or Enders Game; books that take you a little longer to read. I figure the longer the book, the more you can get into it and into the characters.

    Enjoy!

About Me

  • I live in Arizona and I'm learning to deal with it. I'm a bookworm, computer geek, and a Trekkie. I am never awake without my coffee, and even then its questionable. I hate hate hate hate (X14) swearing. End of story. But the most important piece of information is that I am a Bible Student, or I try to be, at least. That seemingly small bit of information dictates everything else about me, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
